What the critics say:

"Guy Touvron has not chosen an easy path. He gives each page an innovative tone and purity. The sounds of the trumpet appear in a state of weightlessness, flawless in their virtuosity and phrasing. Every trumpet player should listen to this record : they will discover a musical sensitivity and an attention to style of which we are not accustomed in this repertoire. "

"It is undeniable that Martha Argerich found the ideal partners in conductor Jorg Faeber and trumpeter Guy Touvron who produced an extreemly mellow sound of graceful fluency."
